Kokedama is a Japanase word that means ‘moss ball’. The Red Anthurium is part of the flowering genus of the arum family, Araceae and to make our Red Anthurium ‘moss ball’, sphagnum moss is used to bind the roots. Also known as the Flamingo Flower, the Red Anthurium would give a splash of colour to any space as it produces bright red flowers.
Though our kokedamas share the same look, they are not the same with the traditional ones. Our kokedamas are crafts that were inspired from the original version.
The Red Anthurium thrives under semi shade so it is recommended to be place indoor. To water, simply soak the ‘ball’ in a basin until thoroughly saturated. Each kokedama are made by hand by our passionate Terra crew, here in Malaysia.
