Kokedama is a Japanase word that means ‘moss ball’. The Epipremnum is part of the Araceae family. To make our Epipremnum ‘moss ball’, sphagnum moss is used to bind the roots. The dangling leaves would make it ideal as hanging ornaments but nonetheless, it would still make a great centrepiece on any table top.
Though our kokedamas share the same look, they are not the same with the traditional ones. Our kokedamas are crafts that were inspired from the original version.
The Epripremnum thrives under some shade so it is suitable to be place indoor. To water, simply soak the ‘ball’ in a basin until thoroughly saturated because it requires a lot of water. Each kokedama is made by hand by our passionate Terra crew, here in Malaysia.
