Kokedama is a Japanase word that means ‘moss ball’. The Cape Jasmine is from the Gardenia genus of the Rubiaceae family. To make our Cape Jasmine ‘moss ball’, sphagnum moss is used to bind the roots. It is commonly found growing wild in Asia and the flowers emits a pleasant fragrant. Having one in a space would give pleasure to your sense of sight and smell.
Though our kokedamas share the same look, they are not the same with the traditional ones. Our kokedamas are crafts that were inspired from the original version.
The Cape Jasmine thrives under bright light. Thus, it is very suitable for the outdoor. To water, simply soak the ‘ball’ in a basin until thoroughly saturated. Each kokedama is made by hand by our passionate Terra crew, here in Malaysia.
